How to remove '16 3500 grille?

Have black grille on the way to replace chrome one.

 

Has anyone removed the grille on a 2016?

 

I see where it is hooked.  Just can't unhook it.

Did you ever figure out how to remove it? I am thinking about putting some lights behind mine.

good youtube video (just put in how to remove Nissan Titan grill...just need to turn the top 3 and bottom 3 screws with a flat head screw driver.  (don't remove screw, just turn it so it can be removed)...the tabs will go back on.

Where did you order the grill and what was the cost?

 

Also, what are you going to do with the black bumper?  paint? replace? cover with grill?

 

We are looking to eventually get rid of all the chrome.

Are those of you looking to replace your chrome grill with a black one willing to sell? I like chrome, as ours is, and if I can find someone willing to sell cheap (becuase shipping is probably a killer) having a spare is a tempting thought....

1)  I did get it off.  Didn't understand how it was on until I saw the new one.

       VERY HARD to get off.   You have to pull on it like you don't care if it brakes!

       Mine didn't brake.

 

2)  Ordered through Nissan. $500ish.

Out of curiosity, anybody know if the grill size is the same as the Titan?  I am thinking about getting a grill cover for winter driving since the rear heater sucks.

does anyone know where to find a tutorial on how to remove the front grill to get to the headlights on the 2016 NV 3500. tried to replace a marker light in the head light assembly and cannot get the socket back in because the space is to tight. need help soon???
