I'm looking to run a 4AWG wire from the VSR to the house battery which will be in the cargo area, does anyone know of a good spot to run wire through the firewall in a 2013 Nissan NV2500? CarlS1973 Posted January 16, 2018 On mine, I was able to leverage an existing factory hole directly under the glovebox under the carpet on the front passenger side. So it didn't exactly go "through the firewall", but it routed beneath the passenger compartment into the engine bay. Randucci Posted January 22, 2018 I used one of these pass thru fittings and had it come out inside the van just under the passenger seat as there was already a hole there that had tape over it (I did have to enlarge it some). I used 1/0 wire because I was connecting a battery in the engine bay to the two batteries inside the van.
