NV1500 with 3 cargo bay lights

Recommended Posts

Not sure if it was a miss print in the catalog or I just plain lucked out. I have a NV1500 with a V6 and 3 lights in the cargo bay. Those lights are listed

for a NV2500 and up.. Not sure if my rig started as a NV2500 and they changed their minds or what?? Love the van, The 3 lights do come in handy

The 3 lights came with the 2500 S model. the 1500 s and sv came with them pre-wired but without the light fixture I believe. Sounds like you may have got one with the extra fixtures in it?

I added the 2 missing , but pre-wired roof lamps to my 1500s . just screwed them in and plugged them up . got them from FactoryNissanParts.com .

If I order 2 lights; do I need to also order the mounting brackets and screws separately?

If you are not trying to match an existing factory dome light, then I'd suggest aftermarket LED Dome lights.

I installed this and liked having the option of the less intense red led.

I'd like to get the two stock lights so it all looks factory.

I went to a local place to see about getting the lights: http://bhpdc.com/

I had the parts diagram with the prices printed out from here: http://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/

He said "at $22 their giving them away". Claimed that's the same as the price they get them from Nissan.

So if you wondered if $22 might be a good price; it might well be.

And you know these days how all the parts places want a VIN to look up parts; I had a pic of it on my phone. He claimed it wasn't in the system. Van was built last month from looking at the door sticker.
