Side window vibrates and makes a loud noise when we drive.

Anyone else have the window in the second row, driver's side loudly vibrate while driving at highway speeds?

Never happened in 19,000 miles so far.  Check the latches to make sure they are tight.  I am not sure if there is an adjustment on them or not to make them even tighter.  We dont open ours much, maybe 2 or 3 times total since we've had the van just due to it being awkward with the latches so far apart.

I'd have my tires checked for damage, balance, etc. - maybe even the drive shaft. Your window may be the voice of another problem.

Thanks guys. This is the first time in a few thousand miles that we've heard this noise too. It looks like the wind is catching it just right. We'll see if the dealer can adjust it. It was really windy on our drive today so I'm sure it's just the window.

Are any other windows down?  You can get some nasty harmonics with the right window space open and a certain speed.  Just like blowing air over an open bottle and making a tone from it.  With vehicles it is usually sub harmonics and can get crazy.  One of my old cars was bad with that and my wife's Sienna does it.

Mine was making noise also, and I found out that one of the screws backed out of the latch. You have to pull the plastic back just a little to see, but that's where I would look. It was driving me nuts!

OK, I fixed my window rattle.  I applied a drop of blue (not red permanent) Loctite to each pivot point of the two latches.  I think there were 4 pivot points in the linkage.  I left the widow open while it cured.  My wife and children had a hard time closing it and had to push from outside.  But I tried it after and it had a nice tacky feel to it.  It takes effort to push it in/out.  It won't just fall into place.  So the rattle is now subdued.  Hopefully the gap filing nature of the Loctite will keep the joint tight for the long term.  We'll get started testing after this heat breaks.
