  1. Ford Transit and RAM Promaster are doing well in my market, multiple reasons why. Just doing the best I can with what I have for product and what I have for incentives. Nissan Passenger vans are selling well though.
  2. radin2son - oh I'm still here slugging away. Nissan isn't really doing much with the vans up this way (production allocation for canada is very very low) so I've been more involved in other fleet products over the past year or so.
  3. What's the brand name on the lift?
  4. I just drove an XD for about 100km, quite a nice engine forthcoming. Would be a good addition to the NV to be sure!
  5. Rep just emailed back "News to me but thanks for sending it in…!"
  6. I sent a copy over to him so we'll see what he says.
  7. Titan XD always was scheduled for December release....No pricing. No order guide, no dealer training as of yet. A slow launch to be sure. I'll be picking up a Titan XD prototype tomorrow to show some fleet customers. Quite excited for that. I drove a pre-production prototype around the streets of Edmonton once before (a yellow SS camero about 7 months before launch) and it was a fun experience. Had people chasing me around waving me to pull over. I don't think putting a diesel in a cargo van would be a thunder stealer. More like the truck will landand Nissan will be advertising "hey here's a new spiffy pickup truck" and then as an afterthought "oh, btw we put the same engine in the vans". But knowing Nissan it would take them 6 months after release of the truck to get it done anyways so very little danger of concurrent new engines. (just speculation though).
  8. Well here's a little interesting story. They are tinkering with the diesel in the NV. http://www.tfltruck.com/2015/08/going-to-airport-in-nissan-nv-prototype-with-the-5-0l-v8-cummins-first-impression/
  9. I've sold a couple as working vehicles. We have a great many oilfield locations that are 4x4 only as part of the requirements to go on site. To date, not a problem with the three of them, to date not a single bit of negative feedback on all three of them. It is a truly great conversion done by Quigley.
  10. Chris when have you heard production starting for 2016's? We heard it was starting in October this year instead of the usual January. Was told that 2015 ordering is done by our NV corporate type. Cdn versus US prod? No word on any changes up here in Canuckistan too. Betting it'll be almost identical versus years past. Doubtful that diesel will flow over to NV. The XD is going to attract a ton of attention so doubtful anything released near it will garner much attention. NV or otherwise.
  11. I've not been to wateron lakes since I was a teenager. Wonderful spot as I recall. Don't know enough to say about road closures or not it's a solid 6+ hours from where I live. The Banff/Jasper National park is spectacular if you've never been. I'm not much of a camper I have to say so I don't visit places like that all that often.
  12. No clue. I was wondering about a plasti-dip for cosmetic reasons (like a Ford Flex) but haven't worked up the courage to do that to one on the lot yet.
  13. Have not done the factory seats. For liability reasons I won't have anything to do with it. I do refer customers to a local upfitter that will do it (apparently complete with engineer sign off "pull test"). They upfitter gets their seats from http://freedmanseating.com/
  14. No clue. I'll called the customer but the number I have on file says out of service. Sorry. I'd email the pic to a graphics shop or two and see what they say.I vaguely recall him saying he ordered out of the US....just fiddling with google maybe some sort of RV graphics package? check out: http://graphicsrv.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=84
