radin2son Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) EuroCampers.com has started offering more NV accessories in addition to camping items. Worth a look. They have front door screens, similar to a pillow case that slides over the door frame/window. (Skeeter Beater uses magnets to hold the screens in place.) These were around in 2012 for Sprinters. The manufacturer had never seen an NV and wanted us to pay $150 for a template that he would keep. Then you get to add all the accessories. Not sure I would ever need these but a way to carry a second spare would help. The top down look is very similar to the “leisure vans.” Base price is $10500 and takes 2 weeks to install on Fords, Chevys, Dodges and Sprinters. 4x4 conversion is available for Fords. They do make a custom top for NVs. Build time for custom is 6 weeks, but that may include camper conversion as well. Find the right used standard or high top NV and this could be an option. Worth a look. “Origin” video mentions another fabricator, Canyon Vans owlvans.com Sportsmobile forum mentioned OWL in a post about a problem with plastic hinges on new Aluminess boxes.
