EuroCampers.com has started offering more NV accessories in addition to camping items. Worth a look.

They have front door screens, similar to a pillow case that slides over the door frame/window. (Skeeter Beater uses magnets to hold the screens in place.) These were around in 2012 for Sprinters. The manufacturer had never seen an NV and wanted us to pay $150 for a template that he would keep. So, we bought Skeater Beaters.

aluminess.com

Saw this topic in the SMB newsletter: “What do I tell my wife to convince her I need an Aluminess front bumper?”

I looked up front and rear bumpers+. $2500 each for front and rear. Then you get to add all the accessories. Not sure I would ever need these but a way to carry a second spare would help.

One potential problem may be not being able to open the rear doors all the way on the sides.

coloradocampervan.com

This is an alternative to the Sportsmobile poptop that in many respects is better. The top down look is very similar to the “leisure vans.” Base price is $10500 and takes 2 weeks to install on Fords, Chevys, Dodges and Sprinters. 4x4 conversion is available for Fords.

They do make a custom top for NVs. Build time for custom is 6 weeks, but that may include camper conversion as well.

Find the right used standard or high top NV and this could be an option.

Avatar Metal Works has a bunch of aluminum off road accessories specific to the Nissan NV and Titan. I've contacted them and their prices seem on par with Aluminess as far as their safari roof racks and front and rear bumpers go.

OWL VANS, “the world’s #1 gear carriers for your off road camper van.” NVs not included in listed vans. Worth a look. “Origin” video mentions another fabricator, Canyon Vans

Sportsmobile forum mentioned OWL in a post about a problem with plastic hinges on new Aluminess boxes. Aluminess was bought by Bestop (Jeep aftermarket).
