Poohj Posted April 24, 2020 We love our van and the room it gives our family of 7, but I just had to change its appearance a little. I appreciate all the info I picked up in this forum, reading about all the modifications you all have done and checking out the pictures helped me a lot. Below is what I did to the family hauler, hope it helps someone else. 3” lift (Rough Country for Titan XD), bolted right on in one Saturday with no issues. Luverne O-mega II Steps (full length on reach side) from Eurocampers. I was able to put on in one evening after work. Added the black side molding since I bought the van used and it did not have it. Had is shipped to me from Nissan and stuck it on. I did put it higher than what the instructions called for. 20”x9”, +18 offset Ultra Hunter wheels and 35” x 11.50” Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Perfect fit, no rubbing and the slide door clears without shims. Future wish list - Aluminess roof rack and ladder. (I’ll need a second job for that one) 1 radin2son reacted to this

ChadNVP Posted June 27, 2020 Question, you mentioned that they fit without needing sims to get the slide door to not rub the tires. I jut got new rims and tires on mine and now the sliding door rubs the rear tires. Is there a way to extend the sliding door to come out more?

It created more clearance and door still operates smoothly due to the hinge not being fixed. We started trying wheels from Dodge 2500 trucks on the Van with the 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. We chose the tires because they are E rated and the diameter came in close enough to the OEM tires to not be a problem. We first tried 18x9 18mm offset and ended up with a 18x9 20mm offset Fuel wheel. I think the ideal offset would be 22mm-25mm but, the selections is much smaller. ChadNVP, there is a couple of older post on here talking about adding shims. Such as the one above from gyd. 1 radin2son reacted to this
GoNV Posted June 30, 2020 I cant believe how easy it is to fit 35s on these vans, most vans have issues trying to fit 31-33" tires.
