radin2son Posted August 16, 2022 Dometic GO hydration jug Came across this via Adventure Journal. If you are used to traveling where water is plentiful, you will be in for a shock in the southwest. If there is water, no tank fill ups. Daily use water is permitted. We have a 20 gallon tank an carry 10 1 gallon tall containers. We have places to stash them but this “may” be a better way. $70, water not included. 2 Nimbus and Local Apparent Friday reacted to this
Local Apparent Friday Posted August 16, 2022 Dometic GO I like the foldable Reliance jerry cans. They stuff in to places real nicely and they're cheap. 5 gals is a little over 40 pounds though. 2 Nimbus and radin2son reacted to this
Nimbus Posted August 16, 2022 I've been using one of these for many years. It rolls up small when empty and can be used as a solar shower. A 10 L size runs about $50 or so. They also make a lighter weight version for backpacking. 1 Local Apparent Friday reacted to this

Saw something similar for about $20 that I wanted at Maine Military that was Swedish surplus, but I figured 250L was going to be hard to manage. 1 Nimbus reacted to this
radin2son Posted August 16, 2022 We use a gas/oil funnel to fill water bottles etc from finicky campground spigots, often threadless, plus it lets you rest the weight of the container on the ground while filling.
