Bug Deflector/Guard

Recommended Posts

I have a Nissan NV3500 and want a black bug deflector.  I only found one and it's cheap and a pain to install (required drilling).  Please leave a message with info if you found one that is good.  Can be smoke color.  thanks,  Cary

I have had the OEM smoke bug deflector installed for about 30 months

and continue to be satisfied with it. It looks gloss black to me.

Drilling was required but it is all on the underside of the hood.

Once I figured out the correct orientation of the brackets it wasn't

so bad. I think there were four, maybe five to drill. Each end is attached

with 3M type pads on the topside - seems very secure.

I have no precious experience with bug deflectors so can't compare

difficult to easy.

Did you notice any change in wind noise or any other difference before adding bug guard?

So nearly forty months now.

No wind noise from it. I think it cut down some on the amount of bugs I had thunking into the big "forehead" of my high roof version.

Still looks like new and still securely attached.

See it flutter occasionally when I meet a big rig on a two lane.

We call it Mr. Mustache.
