How do I turn off the proximity sensors for just the front of the truck?  I have a bully bar and fog lights and they always beep every time I start my truck.  I have to manually push the button to shut it off.  I do like the rear sensors though and want to keep those on.

(any way besides cutting the wires somehow)???  thanks.

I don't believe there's a way to turn those sensors off, but the front of your van sure looks sweet!

Nobody has been able to figure that out yet.  I had asked if there would be an error code if you simply disconnected the fronts and if that would affect the rears but I dont think anybody has tried it yet.  Give it a shot and see what happens!

yes, there is a way and I have done it.  You need to remove the old computer module that is in your glove compartment.  Replace it with the rear only one.  Takes about 5 minutes to do...(but you do need to buy the other "rear only" module) and install it.  Keep the original just in case you take off the bull bar....

I know ...drove me nuts until I figured it out!  My rear works perfectly.

PS...I tried cutting the wires 1st...does not work.

Happen to have the part number for said module?  Where did you get it?  Would be super helpful to many here.

I put the into on the forum a couple of years ago...looking for it now.  I can take apart my glove box worse case and get the part number.   Nissan sells them....there are only two models made...one for just the rear and one for front and rear...I think it says "dual"...

I realize this is a really old thread, but I'm working on sensors tonight. The sensors are just mounted in keyed holes in the bumper. I would be inclined to setup mount points for the two center sensors on the bull bar, and extend the wiring. Then you could retain the functionality.

should work with no issues...I was getting a tad annoyed at the front sensors, every time it rained they would beep.  The rear ones are good and seem more important...(unless you don't know where your front bumper is).  lol
