RICK Posted December 7, 2015 I have about 9 months ago. Rear door requires some weather stripping cutting. Side door nothing special. Installed pretty simple and fine tuned the alignment on the rear. Side was basic as it doesn't have a mating half. The lock spinners can be a little drag as dirt or moisture can make alignment with the keyway a little slow. DesertTed Posted December 21, 2016 Been looking at the Slick Lock, too. Since we're new to the commercial vehicle market, I have a question about them that I haven't been able to find an answer. Do they lock automatically, or with a twist, or do you have to lock them with the key? It wouldn't be very good if someone could walk up to the van and lock you in there where you have to go to the front compartment to get out. Inquiring minds want to know. Thank you! Gerry C Posted March 28, 2017 You have to lock them manually using a key. They are an awesome product. I've had them in three vans and they fit very well. The ones for my NV I just ordered the brackets and reused my old locks. I didn't have to trim any weatherstripping, maybe they changed the design.
