Electrical connector directly behind the grille emblem.

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know what the connector is for? ? It sits directly behind the emblem attached to a center support. I was hoping it was for the driving lights used on the passenger van. Thanks

If you look at the connector, I believe there's a sensor plugged into it.

OMG - is this brand new? Has the forum moderator kicked it up a notch? Are we seriously going to be "graded" on our replies by an unknown entity? Well, not exactly graded since according to someone one reply "wins" and the rest shouldn't have bothered.

Someone explain to me how this is a good thing and that I'm just taking it wrong.

Just wanted to state that my previous rant was in no way meant to diminish or disparage the quality of Axulsuv's post which was obvious to anyone that can read the spot on answer.

HUH !!! I never even looked at my van or my shop manual , I just gave a educated guess (40 years as a ASE certified master & a nissan master tech ) Based on the location of the described of the described connector ...

$hit happens and on new cars it happens everyday , and I'm the one on the bottom looking up !

Gotta get back into the restoration biz fulltime , I'm getting tired of new vehicles and alot of new vehicle owners...
