  1. If you are living in Michigan, why would you buy a 4x2 truck? Just curious.
  2. Got some pictures of your set-up?
  3. Congrats. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
  4. I would think that suspension in 3500 would be beefier. If you are likely to be constantly worried about the payload, I would recommend that you get a 3500. If you are sufficiently under 2500 max payload, you could get away with a 2500.
  5. Mounting is pretty solid. It's the flip-down screen that tends to vibrate. When the road is smooth, it's fine. When the road gets rough, that's another story.
  6. Welcome to the forum. Mod bug is pretty unkind to your bank account. If your mod ends with a brake controller, DVD player, and a set of snow tires, you will be in a good shape. Most of us don't have that sort of discipline.
  7. I have 13.3" screen and the screen tends to shake when driving over a rough patch. I should've gotten something smaller.
  8. Welcome to the forum. We could've used a 4x4 the other day when we went to get our Christmas tree. It was so muddy that our van had to be pulled out.
  9. We get our share of snow here in the Western PA (not too far from Lake Erie). We have GoodYead DuraTrac and love how it handles winter driving. Originally we were planning to use it for winter and use stock ones for summer. Then we simply decided to keep it on all year.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Post some pictures of your van if you get a chance. I am curious as to what 5 % tint looks like on an NV.

    Need advice

This set-up won't work. With NV van, the limiting factor is the sliding door. I have 17x8.5 with 10 mm offset with 245/75/17 tires and this is how much gap I have between the tire and the sliding door.
  12. The wheel looks good, but I personally would go with something wider that 6.5. I have American Outlaw Bunker (17x8.5 with 10 mm offset) with GoodYear DuraTrac (245/75/17).
  13. Welcome to the forum.Yours looks pretty cool. I didn't like the stock wheels either so I changed them out.
  14. I live in an area where lifted trucks are quite common. A local car wash area used to have regular height wash bays. Then a few years ago they installed extra tall bays that even Nissan van can fit. Perhaps you could talk to the owners of car wash place for installing one. That might even make some business sense for them as well.
