So there I am, looking at Quigleys and thinking I should buy an E350, or a Transit, or something to fit my current needs plus future needs of more kids, more stuff, and a more reliable vehicle. First of all: I use vehicles in ways the mfg never thought of. I once put 18 Landscape timbers into a two door Cavalier....somehow they fit. The same car ended up with a landmower ratchet strapped to the roof between the Thule rack, with a trailer attached with about twenty fence panels and a set of Bobcat tracks. Safe to say, I push the limits of stuff with vehicles. Even my current Caravan has become more of a pickup truck than family hauler. I've moved more people more times in that thing than when I owned a pickup. I love having a van, and am pissed I ever sold my 87 Ram Van years ago. So while the wife and I are looking at Honda Pilots and Suburbans and Excursions, I mention that the NV is massive and would have better leg room than the regular fullsive vans, without the pretensions of Honda or a Suburban. She says she's stuck on it and wants one now, which I'm fine with....until she tells me that it looks like a Titan and a Cube had a love child....seriously. I haaaaaate the Cube. Such an ugly vehicle. Stll better than that damn hamster car or a Jeep(Fiat) Renegade. Ugh. So here I am. Hopefully will be an owner of an NV soon, until then doing my due diligence by researching what will cart my family around for years to come. A few questions for you guys and gals: Why don't they put a Diesel into it? The Titan is getting one. Why not the NV? I wonder how tough putting a Diesel into the NV would be? Does anyone know of a front hitch for the NV? With such a tall nose, I'd like to put a couple of bicycles up front and out of the way of the rear doors or having to climb up top. 4x4....It's obviously the Titan Chassis....why not 4x4? Yeah, Quigley can do it for 11 grand, but why won't Nissan do it from the factory? Demand I assume. Anyways, HI!!!!!!
