Contacted the MFR Black Horse who said the first batch of Bull Bars had a design flaw and said he will email me when the new ones are ready for purchase. He said they will attach to the tow hook holes.

After a drive, the rear door did not unlatch. I took the access panel off and found the cable mechanism unseated from the pull mechanism. There is a plastic clip that holds the cable in place and the cable dislodged from the clip. The clip needs to have the open face facing the handle or the cable or will fall out again. Mine was installed at the factory backwards. Bad design because a factory assembler can put it in backwards without realizing it. EASY FIX Hurrah!

Bought two Hopkins harnesses for the NV. Same one for the Titan. One was wired correctly matching up the blue wire. The other one was in the wrong spot. Check it when installing against the vehicle female end.

The auto parts stores are not listing the serpentine belt for the NV yet. Dealer wants $81 for a spare. Will have to wait till the third party stores catch up. The oil filter is really small! I hope to identify a much larger one that cleans the oil longer. The filter is the same one on the 1.5 liter Fit!

There is a Bull Bar on the market for the Nissan! I ordered one but the supplier canceled saying there was a defect in the ones they had from the Mfr. I emailed the Mfr to see what is up. I wonder if it attaches where the tow hooks go and if it blocks the front plate. No grille guards being offered yet to my knowledge.

I am very pleased with the mileage on my v8. brand new with a feather foot I saw on a level run 20. I think for the size of the vehicle that is fantastic. Gas will come down after the Iran issue anyway.

If you are interested, the bolt size for attaching to the many points is an 8mm bolt.

Is there a transmission dip stick?

Had the dealer install a Nissan hitch and wire harness. One week later the right directional and brake light quit. Took it in today and the mech fixed it. He showed me where the rear harness adapts to the front harness just inside the front right wheel. He showed me the white wire came loose in the silly designed connection assembly. I forgot to mention to him that the blue wire also does not stop the brakes on my RV. I am waiting for a 7 pin tester from Amazon to then start working it from upstream. I checked the blue wire in the connection assembly and it looks ok but I have some testing to do next w/e. I will post if I find something worth sharing. I checked all the spots for relays and they are all in place but there is none named a brake controller which is bothersome.
