  1. Thanks.  I suspected it was something like that, but am surprised that pushing Enter doesn't forward the system to display whatever the relevant milestone is.    It's just a blackbox issuing a  warning without specifying what it is.  I will check it again to see.  -Best

  2. When I start my engine I get the following notification (see image attached) which I can't identify  -- no other information.  If you press Enter it says, "1 Warning" then only gives you the option to "Exit"  This repeats endlessly every time I start...

  3. We have an early 2012 model and the gauge shows oil temp. The oil or service reminder can be reset, if not by you then by the dealer.

Since these are commercial vehicles, the service reminder and road use time may be important to fleet managers. I've never reset the use time and have not had the service reminder come on.

There are some who would change the oil at this point and every 3000 mi/1800 k (?) thereafter. If so, good time to put synthetic in.

This reminds me of the old egr light that was mileage based. Our VWs had a button under the front bumper you could push to reset.

Thanks.  All good now with the oil gauge.  Although I'm starting to get the infamous "roar sound" that the 2017 V8s are getting.  Sounds like a fire breathing dragon mating with a schoolbus.  Seems to be some loss of acceleration too.  Might have to take her in again anyway...

  4. You can reset the light reminder on earlier models, I would assume you have to be able to do that as well on the 2017 in case you do your own oil changes or somebody besides Nissan does them.  Maybe it was set weird at the factory or dealership on delivery.  You can change the reminder interval mileage for oil change, filter and rotation with at least the 2015 models...

I do not have a "oil monitor digital display".  Are you sure that is not one of the temp gauges?  I wasnt aware there was an oil life monitor.  We do have several temp gauges we can cycle through.

Thanks.  Indeed the light had been set to go off at just 500 miles.   I was probably just misreading the gauge as applying to pressure or amount.  -Thanks

  5. What is the offset and width of the rims?  That will help with future members looking for tire/wheel fitment.

By the way, would you have any idea how much $ (ballpark) one might get for the full set of 2017 OEM wheels and transforce tires (less than 500 miles on them)...?

  6. I have the bedrug vantred. I really like it, it fit well. I have dogs, I live on dirt roads and my driveway and parking area is dirt. It's easy to clean

Can I ask if this required any cutting or did it come pre-fit for the NV "internal footprint" perfectly?  I was thinking of getting it for my NV passenger -- but cutting it in half to cover just the 4th row area (where I have no seats) -- possibly even "cookie-cutting" other areas to fit the 2nd and 3rd row seats to suit any future configuration (like a jigsaw puzzle)...

  7. Welcome to the forum. The kit advanced uses is about 2 1/4 inches, which is as high as you can go with the IFS on these vans. Makes a huge difference off-road.

But nothing out there yet to go down a couple inches instead? ... :-(

  8. Here's some pics of my lighted visor mirror setup. For each visor I used:

A visor mirror from CUSTOM ACCESSORIES 53331 (2-pack on Amazon).
A pair of Kuled 10-led motion sensing stick, magnet mounted (3-pack also from Amazon).

The nice thing is the magnet mount lets you easily remove the light to change batteries (4xAAA). It's quite bright (perhaps too bright) so you might try a smaller LED light system, but it works. No special connections required (I attached it with the adhesive that comes pre-mounted on both the mirror and the light). The light comes on when you flip down the visor in the dark. When you put it back, it stays on for about 10 seconds and then shuts off. Driving over bumps has not set it off accidentally yet. So far, so good...
