The dealer that I got both my vans from has two High roof silver's coming in . They were the only dealer on the West Coast that had what I needed both times .
But there in Oregon .
I'm not selling vans :) but its Willsonville Nissan in Willsonville OR . Talk to Kevin
He controls his own inventory and knows what sells . Unlike most dealers that only order whatever fills the gap .

You want a tech package with that ?

If anyone is interested in swapping out the incandescent interior lights with brighter, cooler, more efficient LEDs, here's the part numbers you'll need:
I used www.superbrightleds.com for all of these.
Front Map Lights:
2 X 3022-xHP4
http://www.superbrig...p_3022-xHP4.htm
Rear Cargo Lights:
3 X "UPCB-CWHP30" (NOTE: Choose the "UPCB-FES" UPCB Mating Festoon Base option)
http://www.superbrig...bbase_specs.htm
Total cost shipped is around $70. This makes a HUGE difference in the quality and quantity of the interior lighting.
Thanks for the tip . I ordered those part numbers and the front led map lights work great .
But the back rear cargo LEDs with the festoon base did not work out so well . The led light just lays on the lens When i installed them - How did you work this out ?
Thanks

Says without mudfaps ? Not sure if this can be installed if you have the oem mudflaps ?
http://www.owens-pro...?series=classic
Update - I taked with Owens this morning and the they said the full runners will not work if you have the mudfalps . So I talked witth the engineering Dept to get on this to make it work ! ,, :banvictory:

Glenn,
I ordered them online at clipsandfasteners.com I also ordered longer pop-in fasteners since the fabric added enough thickness, that the original fasteners would not hold.
I did all the work without drilling holes with the exception of the A/C and the shore power inlet.
When cutting between the wider rafters, the A/C was installed without trimming the rafters, I was pleased with that. Also the roof curvature was perfect for the Polar Cub A/C.
Hi Glen,
Do you have a part number for the " pop in fasteners" you ordered for the roof ?
Thanks

Make sure that you put the SAME seat back in or your computer will give errors. Each seat is set to the computer uniquely.
Unless you happen to have a Consult 3 to recode in a new seat ... ;)
Good tip thank you .

One of the addictive hobbies I am into is Kiteboarding , and one thing I could never get around is getting my seats wet with salt water or spots of spilled coffee or just plain dirt . Coverking has the best custom fit seat covers for the NV ( unbiased oppinion ) They also have one of the best custom floor mats on the market . Check it out !
Since I am wiating on another NV 3500 SV to arive I wanted to do some more assesorizing with a custom dash mat . You can have them embroider your company name or whatever . there are also pre-selected logos you can add as well . Just ordered mine

Yup
I went through 3 windshields in 18 months with 54K on er
Seems to be a growing issue amongst NV owners
: ride on :

Tip - when you find your back tires slipping / or lack of because of the traction control - just hit the button and turn it off . Your wheels will get a better grip and speed ( depending on the situation your in ) and pop it manually into first gear when going down a steep incline in snowy / icy conditions .

I've had my NV now for 8 months.
PRO'S:
Great handling
Great turning radius
Nice ride
Good side "split" mirrors - different enough as to not cause confusion
Comfortable seats
Excellent leg room on both sides
Lots of built in storage compartments
Strong engine
Good headlights
Good backup camera
Very good climate control hot AND cold
Grab handles all the way around
CONS:
Lousy gas mileage - I average 14mpg and I do 90% highway driving
Braking slightly inconsistent...sometimes fades.
Plastic window sills can cut your fingers up....they have to be sanded down
Fit and finish of interior plastic parts not very good
Orange display lights not the greatest
No Nissan-made running boards. The aftermarket ones arent that good.
Step-up a bit high
No side windows available on the cargo van model
***********
In most respects this is the best cargo van I've ever had. Chevy a close second and Ford a distant 3rd.
No real word complaints . I do think the engineers could re think the back door handle . It sits low and could be a major ubstruction depending on how you upfit your van . I had to build around it with Adrian Steel .
The 3500 Tall boy V8 has been a true work horse and has satisfied my every need for the work I do . I did not purchase this unit for the gas mileage . I just charge my customers more if need be . I am still waiting to race a Toyota Tundra one day .. Hehe . Picking up my second one in a couple weeks ( first one got totaled - their fault. ) I had shopped around for other Vans on the current market . The NV was hands down a no brainier winner again .
I do like the looks of Sprinters don't get me wrong . It's just that their GUTLESS AND NO BALLS !
Oh yea I purchased the NV for a work truck - sorry .

Yep. I don't speed, use cruise control and I use Sunoco gas when I'm on the highway. City driving it totally sucks. I avoid city driving at all costs. Allot is how you drive it, I've learned. I've learned, take your foot off the gas down a hill; if you see a stale green night, take your foot off and let gravity slow you down. Saves your brakes too. I take it to Nissan every month for an oil change and they are shocked when they see the mpg on my screen.
My sales man said, allot is how you drive.
Nice going ..!
But I just can not keep my foot off the gas keeping everyone in my side mirrors ;) always have a emergency call and I have to get there fast . And the 3500 V8 5.6 does a damn good job of it . :):)
-
20 MPG Driving a 5.6 - wow that's amazing ?
-
Yup they are a bit light right now .
Fortunately there is a 2013 inbound right now from Canton that fits my bill . Where the train is nobody knows .
Just put a small retainer down payment on it .
Im squared away ;)
Good luck Joe ... !

All I know is this crazy *B swerved into my 3500 HD SV with 54,000 miles on it with over 15K in custom work into it .
Totaled it ! *#%#
I have never noticed that . When you first get one with fresh tires you just need to wear them in a little . Other than that I hope you get that resolved. ?

Yes it will void the warrantee if you actually drive into the dealer and someone that's smart enough catches it . I have been looking for a CAI for 19 months with zero luck
Custom headers mmmm sounds good to me ;)
I may shoot you a email if someone can find the van I am looking for
-
My first NV got totaled when someone decided to text on the freeway . Pride and joy it had 54,000 on her and was loaded with high tech toys in back
I need another one ASAP -
3500 HD SV Tall boy
Tech package
Factory tow
Rear glass
Blizzard
2013 or 2012
Are you up for the BIG challenge of locating this exact specification ? West Coast preferably - but will fly
Leave me a message I will check back daily - today is
1 23 2013
Best Regards

Hi All
It's been a wile since I posted my initial frustrations . In the end everything got smoothed out and streamlined. Maybe they will change it's policies in the future .
I elected to go with a trade pkg with Adrian Steel and used a local Wrap company . I saved some money but all in all I am extremely happy with the responses I got from Gary and some other executives that called me . This is a huge flagship model and things were a little sticky at first . Nissan stepped up to the plate and made things right .

Not since I last checked .
-
Ok I am very happy about the new Van and the purchase of a fully loaded 3500 High Roof NV .
I have elected to go with the wrap option of the insentive . The only problem is every one thinks they know the answer but no one knows how to put it to action .
I want a local qualified wrap company to desighn print and install the product
Original Wraps says they are the only ones period that can desighn and print the artical .
Local dealer qualified wrap professionals says they have the go ahead to do it all .
The dealer says talk to Original Wrap .
WHOS ON FIRST !!? .
I as a small bussiness professional has not been through the run around like this in along time and I am getting a little pissed off . I have left several messages with regional managers but no calls back yet .
Next I guess I am going to have to fly to Japan to have a sit down with Corporate.
Does any body know anything anymore ?????
I do not want to have someone thousands of miles away to drsighn and print the wrap .

This is actually good news for Nissan . Competition creates innovation which will lead to more models down the road for the NCV market and there customers . There has already in the second month of production been offers of big freight companies ordering multiple NCV units - which have been declined with corporate Nissan .
This is a statement for Nissan " Our small business owners are our 1st priority " . If Nisan continues to maintain this line of thinking and keeps the innovation on the table for further models -- It will be a big time fighting contender for the Big 3 and Ford in particular .
Ford has been sitting on it's laurels to long with it's Commercial Van . There customers have been screening for years about a diesel Van and as well a high roof version . Have they listened ? Who's intersest is in favor here for Ford ? There pocket - or there loyal customers ? It's true that the market belongs to Ford and have a pretty healthy lead in the market place .
This is why the NCV is going to be a huge success and give them a run for there money . They want to import there European models ??????? C'mon man what is up with that ! Where is the innovation in that ? That is a copy and paste mentality :banghead: wich is exactly why I have have given Nissan and the new NCV a hard look as a viable option for my company .
