  3. Just pulled this from the Titan forum. Credit to 2108TitanXD. I’m in the market for a new/used NVP and I am frustrated with the dealership in that they can’t or won’t tell me the date of engine manufacture and when the fix was implemented at the factory.
  4. Greetings, BLUF: From reliability and maintenance cost standpoint, which is better? The old port injected V8s or the new DIG V8s? Has anyone had any issues (carbon buildup, etc) with the direct injection? New to the forum. I am looking at buying a Nissan NVP for the Family. I plan on putting a lot of miles on this vehicle over the next 10 years. Reliability and maintenance cost is more important to me than fuel consumption. The old port injected V8s are rock solid and I still can find a few with low miles. Both transmissions appear to have minimal issues. Thanks for your input.
