My 2016 NV 1500 just made a +5000 mile trip to Mexico pulling a 12ft cargo trailer (2990lbs). It responded very well to inclines and had no problems. I am impressed on the capability of the truck. That was it's 3rd trip to central Mexico. Just a beauty of a work van.
