TJS6. Ok, here's the specs on my tires. I got the P305/45/R22 instead of the 285/45/R22 since it has a higher load rating, which I wanted since it's a big vehicle! If you go onto Nitto's website here http://www.nittotire.com/tire/terragrappler#size and scroll towards the bottom where it shows wheel size, if you got the 22's you can see the specs on the tires. There's an asterik showing which tires have a higher load rating. The 285 has a higher load rating too, but up to 2601 lbs vs. the 2910 that the 305's have. That's why I went with the 305. As far as the rubbing goes on the sliding door, it's not that bad. I can still open my door all the way, just rubs while doing it but doesn't get stuck. I took some photos to show if you need me too. Also, the 305 fills out just right with the fender so you don't get that skinny look from behind. The 285's might work fine too in filling it out but you might look into that.

TJS6, I got 22" Helo 835 wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler tires which I'll find the specs on for you if you need me too! I bought them through my local Big O Tire and he made sure the tires were rated for this big of a vehicle. Only minor issue with the width of my tires (which are 305), is that when the sliding door opens, it slightly rubs on the tire. Not a biggie to me as I like the width of the tires in the wheel well!

Well, I finally made it into the NV family. I traded in our 11' GMC Yukon XL for the 13' NV 3500SL a couple weeks ago since my family outgrew what we had. It's been an awesome upgrade so far on the few road trips we've made with the roominess alone. I ended up getting custom wheels and tires cause it makes it look less van-like and more like an SUV on steroids. We've had tons of looks from mostly guys trying to figure out what it is exactly. After going on a night road trip in rainy conditions I found my only big gripe. The headlights barely put enough light on the wet roads to see anything from any distance and the high beams made it worse. I decided once we got back to do the full HID projector lens upgrade. The upgrade seemed easy enough but once started was a lot more difficult than I had imagined due to the glue used in the headlight housings. I will warn anyone that this was a difficult task! With the headlights apart, I smoked the yellow side markers and blacked out the reflector where the projector is mounted. I like the final look of them though, very mean looking I thought. You can check out all my pictures in my album. Looking forward to more mods soon.

Apparently, this Mgnaflow muffler fits but you'll have to have a custom exhaust pipe made to fit all the way to the back. Here's the muffler http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/displayapplications.asp?partnumber=12588 When I get my NVP, I'm planning on putting the muffler in place and then putting a down exhaust pipe right after the muffler and forego the need to have a custom pipe run to the back and side! I'll let you know once I do this.
