3500 has lower gear ratio. they put on taller tires to make up for some of the lower gear. also has more spring rate.

My dealer did not know about the deletion of the fuel mileage computer. but, after i thought about it, i think that was a 2012 i first trest drove. so, guess I'll live with out the instant knowledge of the fuel mileage, I put one of the fuel mileage apps on my phone, it seems easy enough, so far, i'm getting close to 15 on the highway, but near my home, in the mountains, i'm getting high 13's.

Well, my owners manual shows the MPG indicator, and it was an identical 2013 i drove before that had it, I'll have it in the dealership next week, so i'll post what the results are then.

First thought I was crazy, test drove an NV a month or so ago, and it had the MPG indicator on the dash. Both an identical unit, and this one, don't have the MPG indicator. I read where someone else stated, they had one and it disappeared. Anyone else having this issue?

Darek, few questions for you. 1. just purchased and have not had the Adrian upfit installed yet, spoke with the local dealer and he don't know much about the Nissan deal on the steel. he said i had to install the kit just as advertised, and if i wanted something extra, he could charge me. he quoted me almost $300 to add the wing kit. I want the partition, the wing kit, I don't the the shelves they offer, i want to upgrade to a pair of the HD shelves. 2. also, can i get the kit and install it myself? 3. can i order it from you guys? 4. have you seen the set up where you intall a shelf storage above the headroom on the high tops? i saw a photo from a Nissan dealer of some upfitter up north that was making a custom shelf accessable from the rear over the head room of the driver and passenger. Picked up the 13 2500 SV high top last thursday. love it so far. need to return for the upfit and my driver's door lock does not work. hope to find some advice and make some contacts on the forum. Thanks to all.

only 2 fill ups so far. 1st tank, got 15 mpg, 2nd fill up, got 14.5 mpg. both those were empty still. 2nd tank is in the mountains of WV. Can't complain though. with the high top, V8. I can climb the mountains with cruise on and it don't shift from OD> could never do that in my Ford. It sounded like the engine was going to blow before i gave in to fear and released the cruise control. Question as well... I to have a missing fuel mileage indicator on my display. The unit i test drove had MPG. the unit i purchased, i can't find it. did find average MPH, like i care about that number.. lol
