Finally got to an authorized heavy duty Nissan service dealership. The weld broke away from the catalytic converter end on the first pipe. The said they also replaced the exhaust manifold along with the first pipe (drivers side). It was covered under the original warranty!
-
Yes, price was for new pipe with catalityc converter built into the pipe, which is a one piece. Ill get another quote or 2 tomorrow. Thx
-
There is very little rust under there, definitely a very clean break.
-
That was a price from my local repair shop. I thought it was just a quick fix at first. I just left a message with the dealer finance dept. Trying g to track down the paperwork of the extended warranty. Never got it originally. It was around $2500 or so . It wasn't Nissan's ext warranty, probably the dealers company

I stepped on my 2013 nv2500 (46,000 miles)and heard the exhaust come loose at the back end of the first catylitic converter pipe. Anyone had a problem like this. I was wondering if that would be covered under the emissions warranty. I got 1 price $600 so far. The exhaust is fine besides where the factory end connection broke. Thanks

6. My dealership was unable to fix my auto door locks locking me out, at least a dozen times. They told me to press the unlock button when you get into the vehicle. Maybe I will remember , but what about my son, in the dead of winter. Very Poor!! 7. Anybody notice the reflection from the dash lights in the side view morrow, very distracting.

I don't have any mirrors either, but I have the S model, it was on the lot with a factory hitch on it. But, I would have waited for a SV model, if I had known about the 2 speaker, entry level sound system. I am looking into replacing the radio with a upgraded, Pandora, Sirius XM, type . I have switched out the door speakers and installed some 6x9s up in the "attic" space above the dash. Sounds better but I was told there is no rear speaker channels on that radio deck, so they hooked them into the fronts? Any suggestions or feedback NVers?

Hello All. Anybody else having a hard time seeing the road with the Huge Visors that nearly cover 3/4 of the windshield? I'm 6 ft even, maybe the seat is up all the way? They are boardering dangerous all the way down.

Hello. I have a 2013 2500 nv v8. Just got the oil changed at the dealership for the first time. They billed me for 8 qts. ???Also I used the fully synthetic but they said I had to come back every 3750 miles even with the synthetic and new engine???
-
Thanks Vanguy. I crawled under there and saw the hitch wiring and that's about all. There are the 2 taillight wiring runs inside but I'm not sure if they hook off from those or have a separate run or harness of some sort

hello all. I have a 2500 nv "S" model without the backup sensors and wanted to hookup to the wiring if it has been run to the back if it has been run to the back. Any one know if the wiring is back there?

I would recommend getting an 2500or 3500 sv model with as many extras from the factory as you will ever need. the s models are pretty plain jane and trying to upfit them hasn't been very friendly and costly like: navigation with the extra speakers, rear back-up and sonar assist, windows, hitch, and make sure its a V-8 . you will have more power than you will need but it will be there if you tow anything

hello. I have a high roof 2500 and wanted to get measurements on the regular roof 1500/2500/3500 mounting locations. I need to know the on center width from center to center. I have 4 mounts on each side. mine measures 58" . thanks!
