Got the awning mounted.  Bought the F45S 2.6m and used Ford Transit mounts 986955-741.  The awning came with wall mounts so I shimmed one and used in in the middle.  Maybe a bit overkill but turned out very solid.  The photos show the shim thickness needed and the location on the side.  I used 1/4" Riv Nuts on the top holes and the supplied screws on the bottom holes.  I placed the order directly with Fiamma USA.  The Ford mounts do not show up on their web site but they are a stocked item.  Lots of rain here so am working under the tarp again!

Thanks for the write up, this is my next mod.

  2. The Dometic looked real sold when I pulled it out of the box, simple to use too. It also fits right where the center console is. I have wing nuts holding down the center console and I got a wing nut tool that Im going to put on a screwdriver with an extension on and when we park for the night I will take out the console and put the potty in its place.

  3. I have the Roadtrek N6 with two 6v AGM house batteries and of course the coach (vehicle )battery,we have a 30 amp plug in for shore power but I only have a 20 amp circuit at my house and have to use an adapter to make it fit the 15 amp wall outlet . I started to charge the vehicle battery the other day and noticed the battery separator kicking in, Im wondering if Im able to charge all 3 batteries with my battery charger hooked up to the vehicle battery. I have already learned the hard way that these AGM batteries need to be kept charged to almost full.  Any help would be great , thank you !

  4. Anyone here  use a port potty in their camper van?  Our van sleeps four, has a sink, water, microwave , and almost everything else a full size van has except the bathroom. Most sites we stay at have bathrooms and when we boondock it we just go to the bathroom true camper style but Im looking for something small, clean and easy to use just in case.
