  1. I have a 2016 NV 3500HD. I got stuck in the snow last night and noticed something strange while I was rocking the van to get it unstuck. Whenever the wheels started spinning fast in reverse, the rear view camera would shut off. It would remain off until I shifted out of reverse and back into it again. I was afraid that I would get unstuck and then blindly fly backwards. Is it supposed to do that? If it's intentional, I'd love to know why. Epilogue: Some kind neighbors with shovels and a 4x4 truck helped to pull me out. The recovery hooks on the NV's front bumper work great! I felt bad about getting stuck, at least until a couple hours later when a big 10-wheel snowplow got stuck just a few feet away from the same spot. :)
