Midwest Overland Society Fall Gathering

I read on EP that the Midwest Overland Society group (www.midwestoverlandsociety.org) are having a gathering in Backus, MN September 15-16.  I'm considering driving up to the event.  My van won't be able to do the off road trail ride but there will be many other things to do and see.  Any NVers want to join up?

Never been to that part of the country, but too far for us to travel at this time. If you go, let us know what can be adapted to NVs.

KMG, Are you still out there after getting inspired by the Overland Society? Did they have containers at the ready to ship you and your NV to places where NVs are really unknown.

Still here.  Trip and NV were great.  The Northwoods Rendezvous Two was a blast.

What impression did your NV have on other participants? Post some photos. (If your photos are on your computer, export them as jpeg, medium to desktop, then chose "file" from there. This should enable you to get the right orientation. I had to do this with iPhone photos before they upgraded photos. Now I try to remember to take horizontal photos or crop them square.)

There was a professional photographer at the event so I didn't take any pictures.
