MONTANA NV

Hello and wiring Help

Recommended Posts

Hello!!

I am new to the forum so I hope this is the right place to put this?

I have had My NV1500 for about two weeks for my business and have put a little over 2500 miles on her, great little van so far.

I hope someone can help me with this, I have looked a lot online and all I can find is stuff made by etrailer that is not the least bit helpful to me.

I am looking for installation instructions for the 2016 nv 1500 trailer wiring harness, the dealer threw in the hitch and harness but I cant find installation instructions for the wiring. I'm not worried about the hitch that part is obvious, but I would like to find the correct routing and connections for the wiring harness itself.

I hope this is not something Nissan Keeps to themselves, also if pics are available it would be a big help.

thanks!

It if is the OEM wire harness there is a very large (maybe 50 pin) connector on the passenger side, under the van, probably mid-way back.  You connect right to that and then tie-wrap the harness all the way to the back.

This is the OEM wire harness:

I think these are the instructions:

Hope that helps.

Bamps, thanks for the response. I saw that video and that is the aftermarket etrailer harness that is nothing like what I have.

dneiding, thanks also for the response. I think I do have the oem harness but it is a lot longer than the one in the link looks like it is. mine is upwards of 18 FT long.

ok I think I found what i was looking for.

Thanks all for looking, hope this is helpful to others. btw I found this when I googled just the part #, i'm not sure if it will work the same for other things but its worth mentioning.
