SKRUGS Posted March 9, 2017 I don't like chrome. Testing Plasti Dip sprayon one side. See how it holds up.Just cleaned the chrome real good, then sprayed it. The last pic is for St. Patty day fun. :) 3 joejacktalcum, ASD Dad and Bamps reacted to this
JCattSS Posted March 10, 2017 I like it. There is a bit too much chrome on the NV IMO. Easy way to break it up. 1 Bamps reacted to this
ASD Dad Posted March 10, 2017 Plasti Dip is/was crazy popular for a long time. You can do pretty much any part of your vehicle and when tired of it you just peel it off (if the surface was prepped right). Wheels were super popular since you could black them out or change colors along with shiny emblems. I never tried it but have friends that used it. I think you'll be happy. Our mirrors take a lot of abuse being stuck out there and they are huge. Bugs, pebbles, even rain or sleet at 60 mph will be a lot of abrasion. If the coating gets marked up you can just redo it easily. You did a nice job with the coating. Let us know how it holds up! 1 Bamps reacted to this

Fatherof5 Posted August 15, 2017 I just blacked out everthing chrome on my nv..mirrors, emblems, grille, bumpers... everything...Ive dipped a bunch of cars before, own a couple spray guns etc.. for this i just used spray cans. dip holds up great and is very forgiving to work with. try it. you really can't make any irreversible mistakes. watch a few videos and roll 1 Bamps reacted to this
