KDS Posted April 19, 2017 Hey guys, one of the reasons we bought our NV was to pull our boat. I fish both freshwater and saltwater all around the Tampa Bay area. I see a lot of posts about folks pulling travel trailers. Just wondering who else here boats or goes fishing? 1 handsomeNV reacted to this
mk1_62 Posted April 19, 2017 It's on my list, I bought it to tow a boat in the future. And I mean a boat, something the other vans can't pull. 5000 lb towing is pushing it with most boats with the trailer and at least a 115hp motor 1 Johnnierok reacted to this
Jeremie Conley Posted April 20, 2017 We boat and fish down here in Texas. Got the 24' boat last year, running around 5,000 lbs tow weight. http://www.suntrackerboats.com/boat/specs.cfm?boat=3859 Plus we periodically haul everyone that's going at the same time, 10+ people. It's great - boat holds 12 people and so does the NV! 1 KDS reacted to this
KDS Posted April 20, 2017 That's one of the reasons we bought our NV! If we wanted to take anyone with us on our pontoon boat (a 20' Sylvan) they had to follow us to the ramp. It sucked especially when we were paying parking fees at some of the ramps down here.
