mahu Posted June 29, 2017 Has anyone found some aftermarket armrests to attach to the frame of the seat? We removed the middle console to a) make room for the dog and b) to install a swivel for the passenger seat. mahu Posted June 29, 2017 So, I just looked at the seat structure under the foam of the driver's side seat and it looks like it has the required holes to install the NV1500 arm rests. All one would need to do is remove the foam, which is already pre cut and easily removable, and then make a small hole in the fabric to stick the bolt through. I am unsure about the passenger seat as I was unable to get under the fabric and foam. For this one would have to remove the back plastic cover. I was able to pull it upwards for about 2 inches but it still wouldn't come off. Has anyone succeeded in taking it off? And can anyone confirm that the passenger seat in the NV2500 does have the same holes as the NV1500 allowing attachment of the arm rests? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I got the armrests including bolts, but they did not come with any nut/mechanism to attach the armrest/bolt to. The Nissan diagrams don't show any other parts belonging to the armrests, so I am struggling to find out how they are attached to the seat. Any feedback on this would be fantastic! Did you ever figure this out? We just bought an NV3500 with console removed and would like to add an armrest. I've looked under the seat cover and see the attachment area but I think there might be an additional mounting bracket that is needed. How did you end up attaching it?
