macroman Posted October 27, 2017 Hi Everyone: Good to be part of this group. I just purchased a pearl white 2017 NV3500 HD SL. It's just my wife, dog and me using this vehicle. We do a lot of mountain biking and camping. We wanted a vehicle that had plenty of inside storage and towing capacity - the NV fit the bill perfectly. I look forward to chatting with you, learning, reading posts and sharing information. My first project, when spring comes, is to find nerf bars/side steps for the NV (and to figure out what to do with the third and fourth row seats - lol) Thanks kindly ..... radin2son Posted October 29, 2017 If you plan to sleep in your NV, you will need to address ventilation and bugs. CR Laurence makes great awning style, screened windows. Skeeterbeater makes great screens for the front doors, side and rear doors. We use ours all the time in the summer. The rear door screen is a little tight. You can also buy sceening and magnets from them to make your own. We made our side screen. macroman Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) Thanks ASD Dad. There were about 5 SL models left in the province of Ontario about 2 weeks back. Three of them were pearl white. It's a nice white. I have seen some pearl whites that reflect some weird colours. This pearl looks more like a French vanilla ice cream. I like white and I was pleasantly surprised that I like Nissan's pearl white better than their bright white. ASD Dad Posted November 2, 2017 The admin of this site drives me nuts. I still cant view photo attachments like above! Shows up as a broken link and if I click it I get a No Permission error. I've contacted Admin several times with no response. I can see uploaded photos like the recent rack and winch threads. Just not attachments like above... macroman Posted November 2, 2017 Thanks andy_george. I am very happy with this van. Now for a little customizing over the next six months. Wheels, rubber, running boards/tubes. I have the running boards I just need to "rework" the factory brackets to fit the NV3500. All fun. I looking forward to be a part of this group. ASD Dad Posted November 3, 2017 I can see again! Admin finally got it fixed, it was a software glitch. No mods could open attachments. Fun stuff, yes?? Beautiful van you have there.
