Abejohnson Posted March 25, 2018 Do you notice any difference w/ the airbox mod? Did you paint the bumper, or have it done?I haven't driven enough to notice a difference. I'll update once I have. I painted it myself. I used truck bed liner and so far is seems good. Much more durable than the stock paint. 2 Chris J. radin2son Posted March 25, 2018 I used brush on bed liner on the step on the slider. For some reason SMB added a wooden step over the existing step and the thin rubber tread wore through. No wear at all since then. 1 Chris J. Dempsey reacted to this
timsbeast Posted March 27, 2018 Nice job on the build. LOVE that you just went and dropped in the Sun Roof!
Abejohnson Posted April 15, 2018 Update from this weekend. Did some more work on storage and "kitchen" area. Added some door panels. Hoping to finish the the bed next week and make a curtain for the front. 2 Rahvin2j3 and radin2son reacted to this
radin2son Posted April 15, 2018 Looks good. Are you making a curtain to drape behind the front seats or around the door windows and windshield? We have the later and it makes the living area seem much smaller. We bought insulated panels for the door windows and windshield from eurocampers and use these instead. You can make your own with thinsulate as others have done. Do you have room to add a drop down table to the kitchen cabinet in front of the slider? Very useful when you are outside... Abejohnson Posted April 16, 2018 I'm making a curtain for behind the seats for privacy and dark during the night. I'm also planning on sorting out some form of window covers to help keep the sun out (and heat in if they are insulated). I am planning on doing a few fold away tables. Some for the kitchen and some for the bike maintenance station in the back.
