coastalb55 Posted March 16, 2019 (edited) I just bought a Supreme Suspensions 3" Front, 2" rear leveling kit (available on Amazon and Ebay). Started installing it today but only got about 75% done with the drivers side when I figured out the bottom shock mount was now rotated 60 degrees. The strut spacer is a milled aluminum type (see attached) that bolts up to the top of the strut and has offset mounting holes to attach to the vans strut mount. Anyone who has done this before know if it is necessary to use a spring compressor to be able to clock the new mounting holes to the correct alignment? I hate using those things and would like to avoid it if at all possible. [EDIT] Does orientation of the shock matter? Meaning, could I have just turned this 180 degrees without it effecting the suspension geometry? If so, I feel like a bit of an idiot right now! andy_george Posted March 17, 2019 I don’t know the answer to your question, but you have a damn nice garage floor! 1 radin2son reacted to this
coastalb55 Posted March 17, 2019 Thanks. I epoxy coated it several years back and it has held up well to lots of abuse. It was a lot of work to prep and apply the epoxy though! 1 radin2son reacted to this
Bamps Posted March 17, 2019 Are you changing out your upper control arms too? If not I would highly reccommend it. Anything over 2” on a lift and you should change to aftermarket. I usually get the top plate spacers if I go spacers, much easier. The top plate 90’s the bolt pattern too 2 ASD Dad and radin2son reacted to this
husky Posted January 1, 2020 Hi coastalb55, I bought the exact same kit from Ebay and wonder how your installation came out and the performance of your van after this was done? Did you just turn the shock to line everything up? Does the van drive the same with the spacers in the front and rear? Would you recommend doing this to my van or not? Could you post a picture of your set up if it's possible? Thank You!

Nationwide Fiber Services Posted May 16, 2020 I just put those on mine, the driver side was rotated a few degrees on the bottom after I got the top bolted in. I used a pry bar to twist the coil and strut and it went right in. Now to install the Monroe Load adjuster shocks I had made for it.

I am trying to find out if the leveling kits available online for 2019 models will work on my 2021 NV3500 SL Passenger. Thanks! Scott
