BeaumontV Posted March 15, 2020 hello folks, I am new here and just putting together the plan for my wife and I to escape and travel around the Rockies. I want to buy an NV 3500 (preferably 4x4) and use it for overnight camping sometimes, and sometimes use it to tow an Airstream. Are there any modular kits for converting the cargo van into a camper out there? I can find them for the Sprinter and ram, but those things aren't strong enough for my needs. Thanks. nv_explorers Posted March 15, 2020 Hello Beaumont! We have a 2018 nissan nv 3500 with Tim Dahle 4x4. We just had Colorado Camper Van do the pop top, solar panels with battery bank and max air fan for us. We were able to keep our rear air (they just redirected it). Picked it up 2 weeks ago and wasted no time heading out on our first adventure with it. It is amazing!
