Is this van lifted?

Recommended Posts

I'm a many-years lurker on this site (sorry!).  I used to have a 2016 NV3500 SV Passenger Van, but then had to sell it.  I'm now thankfully again in the market to buy a used one.  Because there are not many to choose from where I live, I'm going to be buying remotely.  The van I'm most interested in looks like maybe it was lifted by previous owner?  I'd be buying from a used dealer, so probably can't get much info.

Can anybody look at these photos and tell me if you think it's been lifted?  Or does it just look different to me because of aftermarket wheels?

Are there any special concerns I should have about buying a used lifted van?  I need an new NVP to haul all my kids around (and occasional camping), so I'm wondering would a lift like this (if it's lifted) affect things like: gas mileage, ride comfort, handling at freeway speeds?

If it's lifted, should I try to find out what brand parts were used?  (in case there are low quality brands that would be bad to have)

Thanks in advance for any advice!  I'm just a mom trying to figure out what the best option is for all my kiddos.

If it is lifted, chances are the lift kit is from Advanced 4x4 in Salt Lake City. Check the other posts below yours. If no one with a lifted NVP responds, you could always call Advanced to ask your questions.
