Adding cruise control

I have a 2018 NV 1500 that doesn’t have the cruise control switches. I was wondering if anyone has added the switches and it just works. Looking at the diagram the switches just send a signal to the ECM. Thanks in advance.

It's been done on other Nissans, but the ECM would need to be programmed.
