AzGRMW007 Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) Over the past few years I have been renting all sorts of vans for adevntures with the kids and for cross country trips. A local dealership had a black 2017 NV3500 in their rental fleet; after logging almost 2500 miles in it - i was hooked. That led me on my shopping adventure. Any dealership that had a used van was charging 15-20k over book value. I found a 2017 and a 2020 selling at book... Pulled the trigger on a Red 2020 and love it!! It was a used trade in with 23k miles. I wasnt crazy about red, but i like it quite a bit now. I put bigger tires on it and have been using it for road trips / boondocking along the way. The van will remain usable in close to factory interior with the ability to sleep in it... [at least that the plan for now] Bumpers, roof rack and even a 4x4 conversion are down the road!! I’m slowing working up from jam everything in and go to more purposeful layout… my December trip will probably have some level of a very basic temporary build in the rear.
