can't handle the weight 2500 high roof

Does anyone else experience this. My high roof is fully loaded . But no exceeding the gvw. I only have about an inch of travel before it hits the bump stops. This question is more directed to the commercial vans.

When towing my 6000 lb trailer, combined with the normal 5-600 lb in the van, I have not noticed getting near the bump stops yet. The back drops maybe 2 inches when towing the trailer. 

 

If you feel your sitting too low in the rear you can add air bags or air shocks. They will also make the ride a little better as well. I used to have air bags on my old Chevy van & when I towed my 8000 lb travel trailer it rode very comfortably.

The location of the weight in the van makes a big difference.  Although you may still under the GVWR (#9100), if the bulk of the weight is over or behind the rear axle,  the rear will ride a lot lower.  Try moving some the weight forward between the front and rear axles.  The weight sticker is on the driver's door jam. On my 2500 High V6, the front axle weight max is #3825 rear is #5875.  Hope this helps.

Try this instead of airbags. Helps out considerably.
