xavman Posted September 13, 2014 So I was looking at the front of my 2012 Nissan NVP 3500, 8 Cyl, Regular roof. The NISSAN symbol on the front of the front grille is peeling inside the lettering, which hints to me this is not a bonafide chrome piece. Anyone have experience with this? Recommendations? I would rather replace the whole grille with something a little more "built to last." Anyone know if the NVP 3500 grille specs are the same as the same year Titan? I was going to cover it in Plasti dip anyway, because it is not worth the trouble to take it to the dealership.I wonder if some social media posts to NISSAN USA would get some action? I have two Nissan vehicles currently and the paint is another problem. It is so thin and easily chipped.Adding a 3M paint shield is the way to go if your front hood and fenders are still in good shape.
