2013 Nv2500 V6 A/C clutch will not engage

Recommended Posts

Had a leaking evaporator, so I removed the dash, replaced the evaporator. I put the system under vacuum, filled it to the proper amount of Freon, and ac clutch won’t engage. I have the ac at full blast, on the coldest setting, and nothing .  I ran a 12v wire directly to the compressor and it turns on and the AC is ice cold. I ran the IPDM test and the ac clutch engages and disengages. I’m getting 2.5 V at the sensor on the top of the accumulator at the center (gray) wire, 5V at the (Red) wire. I must be missing something, or maybe forgot to plug something in that would cause the compressor to not engage. Any help would be great!

I’ve read every forum, and my thoughts are maybe the probe that goes in the evaporator. I made sure to be very careful and put it in the exact spot as it was, but maybe I broke it somehow? Not looking forward to taking the dash out again…
