Thurman Posted November 27, 2023 Hello, Has anyone had any luck with reprogramming the TPMS sensors to a different setting say 60 PSI instead of the factory 80 PSI it wants in the rear? I am running larger aftermarket wheels and tires and I like running at 60 PSI all the way around but trying to see if anyone has had success in using a TPMS Reader or other methods to reprogram the sensors to a different PSI than Factory? Thanks

Ferrugenfish Posted October 2 Thurman, I just had my van converted to 4x4 by Advanced 4x4 in Salt Lake City, and they must have adjusted it because I'm running about 55 psi on my front wheels no warning light. I put on285 KO3s on new 17" wheels. However in my old (2013) van which I still have not sold (I haven't listed yet), which also got a wheel/tire upgrade, the TPMS was never adjusted (Big O Tires), so I pretty much drove with the warning light on for years. I do remember seeing a video years ago when I cared about it, and in it a guy described a sequence of events that must be conducted in a particular order, such as deflating your tires to 20% or something, in a specific order, than re-filling them in a certain order. He was happy with his success but I tried it years ago to no avail... but I could have done it wrong...ly. He was some white guy and his wife might have been in the video for a short period... of that helps.
