Countdown to arrival of 2013 NV 2500 SV V6

Recommended Posts

You saw the chipboard subfloor in the video. It is always interesting to see the build process and the purpose for the vehicle. They are climbers, so the 2 drawers/boxes work well for their gear. We prefer to have it open to put individual duffle bags and an outside kitchen duffle bag in the same space. Move 1or 2 of the bags, and I can fit 1 of 2 breakaway bikes there.

You are not alone in your build approach, which really is the way to go. You can build what you want and add what you need. SMB has a home build thread. No NVs to my knowledge.

Footage from several of their climbing videos appear in the "Magic" video. Check out the one on Cochise Stronghold.

Did CarMax follow through with replacing the tail light and panel?

I decided to stick with Jim Click for service. Close by and they know NVs. The main service # is 884-4150. Ask for Jeff. The service manager I have been dealing with is Frank.

The parts came in... I know not when.  (Have had van 3 weeks as of yesterday)  I texted salesman yesterday morning at CarMax and he answered he'd get back to me.  Instead, at 5:45 pm, my ex-husband, who I listed as an emergency number, "not a family member," texts me saying they called him and said parts were there.  Why they didn't try both my phone numbers or my email, I do not know.  Tempted to just go pick u parts and not even have them install them.  the crack on the tail light is barely noticeable and I plan to pop off the panels anyway to do insulation.  But, then I would have to pay someone to do tail light, unless super easy (I have done a headlight before on a civic).  Debating.  Really want to start the build but wondering where best to get insulation.  Most online folks say do Reflectix but wish I find a good writeup on various options.  Thanks for asking, tho', Rad'.
