Jmiele4 Posted June 15 We have a 2017 Nissan NV 3500 that overheated today while sitting parked with the air conditioning running. Fortunately my teenagers shut it off as soon as it happened. The cooling fan is spinning but does not appear to be going into high speed when the temperature comes up. The temperature gauge is reading through the ODB reader as well as on the dash. It does look like the temp on the dash jumps around a little bit but I don't know if that's just the thermostat cycling. The fan fuse is not blown. Any ideas? crusty Posted June 17 The fan clutch probably went bad. The fan clutch is a common failure point. Friends who run the same style clutch on Ram trucks are known to carry spares. Thermostat is computer controlled. I would expect codes to be thrown if it isn't working right. 1 radin2son reacted to this
