Can I Swap the Cruise Control into Non-Cruise van?

Hi all,  new owner of a 2015 NV 2500HD.

 

My van doesn't have cruise control in it, but I was just at a "pick your part" junkyard that had a NV 2500 with cruise in it.

 

Does anyone know if it is possible to take the cruise control stuff out of the junk van and install in my van?  I'm pretty handy with wrenches, just not sure if it is doable or not.

It's programmed into the ECM

Thanks for the reply.  Well in that case it probably isn't worth the effort then.  I can get a retro-fit unit for about the cost of getting the ECM programmed.
