Joe Hartigan Posted Saturday at 05:28 PM I own a 2018 Nissan nv3500 sl and realized there is no transmission dip stick. You can't check the transmission level and you can't do a transmission flush. I had to bring it to the Nissan Dealer for 300 dollars for the flush. Is there a conversion kit so you can have a transmission dip stick? Local Apparent Friday Posted Sunday at 02:20 PM This is correct, the trans is "good for the life of the vehicle" according to Nissan engineers and requires no service. crusty Posted Sunday at 06:31 PM There is a fill and spill port on the pan. Add fluid until it spills from that stand pipe. Common on most new cars and trucks. Overfilling transmissions, or putting the wrong fluid in them is really bad. If it isn't leaking out, it is still full. Modern engines and transmissions are really good at not leaking.
