jcjetty Posted February 5, 2012 Hi, I am seriously considering buying a v6 NV for my carpet cleaning business and I have a few questions I hope someone here can answer. Is the 4.0 v6 powerful enough to pull roughly 1000 lbs through a mountain pass? Elevation a little less than 5400 feet. Is the tall roof going to beat up the MPG to the point where its not economically feasible? Thanks!
jdarnfor Posted June 14, 2012 Yes, have a prochem 650 fits nicely, would not recommend a v6 for mountain pass I live in the west kootenays and the v6 will be working very hard. I have 100 gal fresh water with the 2500 hd climbs hill just fine I have the short roof has to go in garage so it dosn,t freeze in winter.
