All the pickture shows is a wire coming from the new center console ,does my nissan 1500 nv have a plug pre wired for this assembly?I have read comments about installing the console but nothing about the wiring or if it requires a transformer any help would be greatly aprecated thanks
radin2son Posted August 11, 2015 It will be interesting to see if the forum monitors respond to this. You may want to repost this else where on the forum where you found the removal posts or just keep it as a new topic there. 1 Chris Dempsey reacted to this
Glidedon Posted August 15, 2015 You probably don't have the inverter package required to power the 110 outlet.

My 2014 2500 Cargo came with the console, so there was an inverter also. If you have one, it will be on the driver’s side, mounted behind the hardboard panel (if you have them), all the way to the rear, just above floor height. You can add an inverter, but it’s tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing. BTW, the factory inverter is rated at just 150 watts when the vehicle is moving, 400W when parked- not a lot of power. It is good for charging phone/laptop/tool batteries, though. See photo below. Edited August 17, 2015 by Chris Dempsey
NoEffinMini4Me Posted August 24, 2015 You can get a better one from Amazon for $30 that also has a couple of 5V USB connections. Mount it in the console and wire to the 12 Aux outlet.
KMG Posted August 24, 2015 Chris, What's the hole in the rear quarter panel behind the inverter? That had to be "painful" to cut.

The truck was still pretty new when I cut that hole and the hole in the roof. It’s for an electrical inlet to charge my “house” batteries. Check out the photo album “NV Cargo”, there are more pics.
