Installation Solutions Inc Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) OK guys, lots of work went into this one. I know some of you have seen a few of the pictures from my other post about the rear panels but I decided to carpet EVERYTHING. Enjoy!! ASD Dad Posted October 15, 2015 That is nice work! Any reason you chose black? I can see it hiding dirt and scuffs but it is really dark in there and I am guessing you need to see well. Either way, it looks nice.
Installation Solutions Inc Posted October 15, 2015 Yeah it is a little dark but I had dark grey in my old Ford and it didn't withstand the test of time.... This carpet has a rubberized backing so it seems a little bit more durable, only bad part was I could only find it in black. Most of the time I need to find anything it will be in a divider box anyway... So far it's been working out.
Chris_CommercialManager Posted October 16, 2015 That is one of the cleanest installs I've seen, nice job. I'm sure that took some time to say the least. I really like how you built cabinets to literally use the whole interior height of the vehicle. Much better use of the available space than anything you can buy "off the shelf" in my opinion. axulsuv Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) I like it :)I still need to find time to make a headliner panel for my cargo ... Did you attach your headliner panel with bolts and washers to the existing nut locations in the roof beams ? Thanks, Glenn Edited October 17, 2015 by axulsuv
Installation Solutions Inc Posted October 18, 2015 Thanks guys.... Put a lot of effort into this one. That's 10 plus years of experience and knowing where I wanted everything in my truck. I used sheets of underlayment for the roof and walls with self tapping Phillips head screws right into the frame. Not to mention about 15 cans of 3M spray adhesive. Installation Solutions Inc Posted October 18, 2015 Also, it gets a little tricky going around wires and the rear dome light....took some time to figure that out and how to wrap the carpet to go under the weather stripping around the rear doors.
