Mike Cybulski Posted March 21, 2020 I saw lee's van conversion. What van is he using? I'm 6'3" and would like to stand up inside.
radin2son Posted March 21, 2020 It was either a NV 2500 or 3500 high top. Only 2 choices, standard or high top. No extended version. Go to Nissan commercial to get interior dimensions. At 6’3” you are probably too tall. If you plan to use this as a cargo van, it shouldn’t be a problem. If you intend to do a diy camper conversion, a subfloor etc will decrease headroom... Transit may be your best bet. If money is no object, a Sprinter?
radin2son Posted March 22, 2020 If money again were no object, Sportsmobile West has a 2019 Quigley 4x4 Transit, Ext high top, on their lot to be converted. Base price is $41,250. Add $8,155 in options (includes diesel for $3,995). MSRP is $50,885 but that is before Quigley. With dual rear wheels, it will be $66,200. Now you can add the SMB conversion... Or in the alternative, you can go full overland in an old Defender (Parker, AZ). Hope everyone is well, looking for something to read.
