Huge number of tire related accidents annually, not all related to unsafe tires, however. Unless you or the tire shop register each tire, you may not know you have an unsafe tire even if the media covers the recall. Are NV oem tires registered? Something to keep in mind at replacement. Another item was Pep Boys being bought out by Bridgestone Tire. How many of us have crossed their oil stained parking lots to get a part.
