rodjava Posted February 25, 2016 Hi,2 years ago I lost the original 2012 2500 NV key and had a locksmith replace it.2 years later, I found the original key but it does not start the car. I wonder if someone can explain this. Is there some type of self programming procedure I can do to make the original key work again? Thanks in advanceRod in San Francisco

Glidedon Posted February 25, 2016 The key needs to be reprogrammed. The replacement key you had made changed the programming. The 2 keys are programmed differently. 1 andy_george reacted to this

Block Posted March 22, 2016 Anytime a key is programmed it deletes all keys stored, then you must add all keys at the same time.
